Editorial Illustration

Earlier this spring, I had the opportunity to illustrate a publication created within the Slovenian scouting community, focused on global issues, the Sustainable Development Goals, and how these topics connect to our everyday lives.

Guided by the motto "Think globally, act locally," I created a series of illustrations designed to make these ideas engaging, approachable, and accessible for young people and scout leaders alike.

The cover illustration depicts scouts of different ages standing on the silhouette of Slovenia and exploring the globe together — a visual representation of how local actions can contribute to positive change on a global scale.

In addition to the cover artwork, I created a collection of spot illustrations used throughout the publication to support and enrich the written content.

It was especially rewarding to see the project later featured in our national scout magazine and shared with the wider scouting community.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a project with a positive social impact and to use illustration as a tool for education, reflection, and encouragement.
